The Story of Happy Out Designs

Happy Out Design is a small handmade arts and crafts business specialising in providing customisation for all occasions.

​Happy Out, originally named Ditzy Dinosua, was an idea I had in 2021.

Covid was a hard time for everyone, with lockdowns and facing the unknown. Tie that in with an unexpected cancer diagnosis and a lot of time on my hands, and I began to draw, design and craft to fill the time. The idea of starting a small business to share my projects was always in the back of my mind, but with some encouragement from friends, Ditzy Dinosaur was born. 

As the projects and requests came in from all different avenues - birthdays, Christmas, weddings and so on, I realised the name of the business needed to evolve as the business did. Staying true to the core of my business values of having fun, giving happiness with an Irish touch - Happy Out Design was launched.
